Get Inspired

Why bother waiting around for life to pass you by? Grab life by the horns and hold on tight!

Experience as much of life as you can!
I saw a quote somewhere that had great meaning to me, " Let your past make you better, not bitter". I believe everyone could use this quote in their lives. We all go through hard times, its inevitable, they come with the good. However it is up to us, as individuals to take those rough moments and turn them into something fun and exciting. Now, your probably thinking I'm crazy. In what possible way can you take the worst moments and turn them into something good?
For starters, don't dwell. Rarely do we look at bad situations as just that. The unfortunate truth is, if something disrupts our mood, it spoils our whole outlook on the day, perhaps even the week.
Here is an idea! Try taking the day and look at it as a whole. What I like to do if something bull dozes through my happiness, I look to the things that made the day unique, or entertaining.
Did you meet someone special? Help someone in need? Get good news?
Perhaps it was even something as simple as the sun shining brightly into your room to say good morning! Whatever brought you down, can bring you back up. Focus on those negative circumstances in ways to turn into positive ones. This may even mean buying a day planner to help organize your life, listening to music, or even a nice work out ( like yoga, pilates and zumba). Even a nice walk outside can clear your mind and help to alleviate your stresses.
No matter what the situation was, look for the good in it. In the end I am sure it will make you a stronger wiser person, ready to jump over the next obstacle standing in your way.
One more thing....never go to bed angry! This I cannot stress enough, and I live by this. I find when you go to bed angry or upset, you wake up in the same state you were in when you fell asleep in the first place. Good days can always out weigh any bad, just by focusing the good. Things always have a way of working out in the end, after all, once the rain has stopped there is a rainbow that shines through.

In the end it does not matter how slow you go, just remember not to stop.
